Chapter Two Reflection

This week after reading chapter 2: Designing for Humans, I learned several new things that websites do in particular to trigger our emotions. I agreed with most everything that was said, but something that really stood out to me was when he said “our definition of beauty originates in our own image….We can find traces of ourselves in most anything we see, and we like that.” I can relate to this saying because I too try and see how things pertain to me. Especially when I am studying for a test or something and I relate the example back to my life and it actually helps me to better remember it .

Not that I disagree with the point he was making, but I too have two speeding tickets on my record right now but I can’t say that the police’s technique works–considering I still went ahead and sped a second time. Haha just something he said that stood out to me that I could definitely relate to.
