Checking Bootcamp Off the List

I was faced with the daunting task of mastering both Photoshop and InDesign this week. I can’t exactly boast my creativity or my skills in either program, so it was definitely a challenge for me. After creating the front page assignment, I was impressed with my ability to work with InDesign (with lots of help from the video) and slowly but surely create a layout that I never thought I’d be able to create. After looking at it though, I know I need a LOT more work, and the perfectionist side of me wasn’t exactly pleased with the final product. I know that mastery comes with a ridiculous amount of practice and trial and error, so hopefully by the end of this semester I’ll have a firmer grasp on what I can do with both Photoshop and InDesign to make my pieces look awesome.
