What kind of visual language will you use? 

Shorten Heritage Medical Products to the acronym HMP. A slogan underneath, website info, maybe social media info.

Will the visuals be type or image driven?

My first thought is typed. I think for the product it is the best way to get the message we are wanting out there.

 

What do the type and images need to mean?

The type needs to be professional, quick to read as doctors are limited on time, it is not an overly creative field so the simpler the better. A minimalist feel to it.

 

What connotations do they need to have?

Straight to the point, here is where you can purchase an ultrasound bed or learn more. Maybe cause the person seeing the card to want to learn more about the product.
