Communication Strategy

For the communication strategy there are tons of things to consider. Cosmopolitan is already so well established, and they have such a unique eye so how can that be improved? Images should be type driven because I don’t want to alter Cosmopolitan’s brand or make it look sloppy compared to their clean nature.

1. The key message I want to communicate is how Cosmopolitan emphasizes women empowerment
2. Visual elements that will be used will show powerful women in multiple different industries
3. Cosmopolitan sticks to pink and black, so that color scheme will remain but art should be something that symbolizes strength.
4. The type needs to emphasize strength, so it needs to be a bold type that is not feminine, feminine colors can be used though
5. Images may be clunky, but a symbol of strength like the Chinese symbol could be incorporated somehow
