Communication Strategy for Thorns New Materials
For this next part, I began to visualize what my business card for Thorns would look like. Its important to choose visuals that convey the messages that match your organization, I will talk more about that below.
I want to use some pretty fonts, maybe a script one for the name and then a more unique but readable one for the contact details. The other visuals will include a floral design on one side of the card. I can visualize it in my head but I’m not sure how easy the floral element will be to create.
The type needs to convey to information about the business, to get the person reading the card acquainted and aware of what the business can offer them. The visual design will demonstrates the businesses creativity and high quality of work in everything it does.
Overall, I want the materials to convey that the business is charming, creative, inviting, classy, wholesome, and of great value. People should see the care taken in the design style of the card, which is a representation of the businesses brand, and should want to experience the whole business by visiting the store or connecting with the store online.
Keeping with the style of Thorns and the colors of the store and already created logo, I see the business card/letter head being black on one side with the logo and white on the other with the persons information. I want to use golds, whites, sage greens, black, and maybe some cream/beige colors to create some kind of floral design on the white side around the text. I think this would be a subtle way to make the cards pretty and tailored to the businesses focus on flowers.
