Communications Strategy
For this blog post my PR Publications professor asked us to try and “destructure” our writing and really break down and brainstorm for our Business Cards.
When asked what kind of visual language will I use all I can think is logo and branding. I think that the most visual element of my business card should be the logo. Logos show who a company or brand is and gives their company a universal picture. Including this on my business card will allow anyone to know exactly who I work for or the company I am employed by. I will also include text such as my name, position in the company, telephone number and email for basic contact information.
The visuals will be a mix of text and image. The image will come from including the logo but the text is necessary to know whose business card it is. The type and image are completely self explanatory. The image is the company logo and the text is contact information for the employee.
The message that I want my business card to send is one of professionalism. I also want the look of the business card to be clean and simple. I would love for there to be no distractions from the logo and contact information. I want people who receive this business card to only think highly of the OKC All Sports Association and of myself. A business card is sometimes the first impression and I want to have the best first impression I possibly can.
