Competitor Analysis Research

In this post I explain the difference between D&L Oil Tools and it’s competitors. For the Pinterest Competitor Analysis Board, I chose to use SandRidge Energy. Although there are other companies that would make more sense on choosing as the competitor, this is the only one I could find on Pinterest.

One way D&L differs from SandRidge is that D&L has more marketing methods. On Pinterest, the only item with the SandRidge company logo was a Tervis. While I’m sure they have other marketable items, this is the only one I found on Pinterest.

D&L’s image and message should differ because they are a successful family business. They have top of the line oil tools, and show it in their brand image and message.
