This object represented typography. There are different fonts spread across the image. Some are serifs and some are san serifs. I thought it was a unique representation of what there is to be learned about typography in design.This image was meant to show balance. The object is symmetrical, giving it balance on both sides. It is the letter “A.” I thought it was also cool because it is serif which pertains to what we are learning about in design.To me, this artwork represented color. It is a three piece canvas set that uses similar colors to make each one of them unique. They all pop out and each one is complimentary of the others.This object represented minimalism. It is just a clear martini glass sitting on a bland counter top, and the simple olive that is the focus point of the photo rests in the glass.This image is meant to represent form. In design, there are so many different kinds of form. This image has a unique form with different shapes and different styles that are meant to appeal to the eye.This object is meant to represent dominance. The background is a basic pattern with the signature Gucci design and the emphasis comes from the big, bold letters in gold that read the brand’s name.This object represents metaphors or symbols in design. This bag is an iconic piece of fashion that is recognizable because of the signature symbols and logos within it.This object is showing unity. It shows the viewer that all the different parts of this piece come together to make a leaf, in unison.This object shows proportion. The hair brush has all of the different pieces arranged in it proportionally with the same size, position, and colors.This photo is meant to show rhythm. This piece uses a lot of bold colors and designs that give it character. It has patterns that give it a signature rhythm that the eye follows.
