Design Project #1 Reflection

Finally! Design project #1 is complete! I feel so relieved and happy. After a few frustrating attempts and some failures, I created my first business card and letterhead for Lululemon!

As I’ve stated in some of my previous blog posts, I was pretty nervous about this project because I’ve never worked with InDesign before. I was definitely a rookie, but now feel so confident with the program.

The final draft is officially done and I’ve created a Design Pitch about my business card and letterhead, where you can listen to how I managed to design this project for Lululemon.

 

 

So I thought about it, and I would love to pitch this to Lululemon but since they are such a large company, I feel they would have probably zero interest in my design. It is very simple, but that is just my style. Many Lulu ideas that I have seen are simple but some can be extremely overwhelming. I went with the simplicity.

I am very confident with InDesign now. It took some time to learn, but I am very pleased with the way I picked up the different tools within the program. If I were to start over with this project, I would probably choose a company that is local, so that I could actually pitch my design to them. That would be so awesome to have a company actually use your design! My dream.
