Designing for Emotion

After reading Chapter 3 Personality, in Designing for Emotion. I realized that I agree with creating a design persona for your website. I am currently creating a new website in my PR writing class right now. We are learning the importance of wanting our website to show our personality. I am very excited that I had to read this chapter because it really helps me to understand what exactly I need to do to show my personality on my website. Starting from Brand traits, personality map and voice.

This is one of the first times I didn’t agree with something on Designing for Emotion. I agree that the personality is the platform for emotion, how important persona is, and that you need to create persona for your website. This was probably my favorite chapters to read in Designing for Emotion. It is definitely helping me in my current beginning stages of design for my website and I am excited to start creating it.
