Designing for Emotion

For this weeks assignment Professor Croom instructed that we read chapter two of Designing for Emotion.

One thing I agree with in the chapter is that humans do enjoy seeing themselves in objects. They enjoy the human aspect of design. I liked learning about the golden circle and after reading more, I decided to learn more about it. I believe that humans enjoy themselves and if you can give them, themselves through design you are on the right track.

 

I do not agree that all individuals have emotional aspect. There are people with varying degrees of comfortability when it comes to emotion. There are also people with “disorders” who may not recognize emotion. I would gather to say that humans may enjoy emotions-all at different levels- but not all humans receive it the same or perceive it the same.
