Designing for Emotion Ch. 1
This week we were required to read Chapter 1 of Designing for Emotion and were asked to state what we agree and disagree with in this chapter. I actually didn’t read anything that I completely disagreed with. There were quite a few things I agreed with so I will just pick one. I agree when the author states, “preserving the human touch and showing ourselves in our work isn’t optional. It’s essential.” I think that in order for people to enjoy the work that has been designed, the designer has to be enjoying his or her self while designing that piece. I think that how your mood is is how your work will turn out. If you’re in a bad mood, your work probably won’t be as good as it would be if you were designing in a good mood. I enjoyed reading Chapter 1 of Designing for Emotion.
