Designing for Emotion Ch. 1

In chapter 1 of Designing for Emotion, I agree when author Aarron Walter says that “preserving the human touch and showing ourselves in our work isn’t optional. It’s essential.” I believe that in order for people to enjoy the work that has been designed, the designer has to be enjoying his or herself while designing that piece. Your mood shows through in the project at hand. As I come to an end of this chapter, there is nothing that I really disagree with in it. Websites do need to be personal and efficient in order for them to be successful. In the words of Walter, “designing for emotion is good for business.”
