Designing for Emotion CH 2
Designing for Emotion is a text book that does a really good job of giving a real life perspective on elements of design and how design affects people. This week we were asked to read chapter 2 of the text book and tell what we agree ad disagree with the text.
I agree with the author when he says that designs that appeal to the human emotions are more appealing to audiences and more affective in conveying a message. I disagree when he says that we should make things we design in real life proportions. I understand where he’s going with the idea but i don’t think that that is always conducive to aesthetically pleasing designs.
