Designing for Emotion-Chapter 2
One thing I liked about this chapter is how the author says that the “golden ratio” to express how proportion is used in design. In any design it is important to make sure proportions is observed and that every deign should have balance. I also liked how the author talked about how a human perceived a design based off of how they see themselves. This is important to know, because it encourages you to know your audience and how they will view your message.
One thing I did not like about the chapter was attractiveness makes people feel good. While attractiveness does make people interested or eye-catching, it is not the only thing that draws peoples interests. Human interest pieces, sad stories and other emotional elements, when used in design, can help connect the person to the design and ultimately to the product.
