Designing for Emotion Chapter 2

1. What is one thing in Chapter 2 that you agree with?

I agree with the cuteness of babies being a big factor in why people would want to deal with them when they are so much work. As I read this I was glad the book talked about it because it is a concept I had read about before and I found it particularly true. Then I liked the way the author related this with design. I have tried to read Fox News website before and I found the interface unappealing and hard to read and I gave up on reading further simply because of the design elements of the page.

2. What is one thing in Chapter 2 you disagree with?

I would not say I particularly disagreed with anything but I would say one thing I read about that I had not put too much thought into before was how much our brains are looking at things trying to connect with them. I feel like as I begin each design project of my own, my brain has concerns of not being able to create something that people will be able to connect with, thus people not liking it.
