Domain Action Plan
After spending the whole semester adding on to this domain for PR Pubs and writing 18 blog posts about it all, I can’t imagine wiping away all of that hard work. It’s a collection of all of my drafts and final projects from while I was learning design. Since I still have a lot to learn, I imagine that I’ll look back on this domain to remember things that I liked or didn’t like about early designs. But I also can’t imagine adding on to this page any more.
My favorite project this semester was the business card and letterhead because I think it was very useful in my life right now, so I will definitely look back on that process and show it to my boss, since they like to see that kind of initiative from their youngest employees.
Maybe I will end up wiping it clean and using the domain for something else, but I also already have three or four domains (I think– I’m starting to lose count) that I’ve had to create for other classes, especially in Gaylord.
Overall, I do think the use of the blog posts in this class were very helpful. Being able to look back at early frustrations/triumphs is constructive. Also, seeing all of your work gathered in one place instead of in random files on your computer is a lot simpler. Since everyone is making websites for professional uses now, it’s definitely helpful to create different domains to learn which one will work the best for your specific purposes.
