Domain Action Plan Reflection

This is the first time I’ve ever used a domain for personal or class reasons and I’ve been able to kind of explore how to use it. I think I definitely loved the experience of using this domain and it’s opened me up to exploring how to use the web based pages for professional or personal use.

Since we have moved to such a digital society, I think having a site like this would greatly help when looking for jobs. I definitely don’t think it would hurt at all. Being able to send or link out a page with all of your materials is an awesome way to branch out. I would love to continue this site for other classes and show some of my materials on here. I think in order to do that I’ll kind of organize my pages and menus to be a little more simplified and compartmentalized. I might look into using another page or another space to separate academic/professional/personal use but I don’t feel like I have the experience with web pages to completely branch out quite yet. I do think the design of a web page in itself is extremely important if you are trying to use it to showcase your digital design skills so that’s also something to think about.

Moving forward, I think I definitely would like to add a “Contact” page and an “about” page if I want to utilize this moving forward.
