Domain Action Plan

I created my domain last semester for PR Writing and continued using the same one for PR Pubs this semester. Having an online presence is really important in the PR/communication field, and a personal website is a great way to showcase yourself and your work.

It will probably depend on the type of jobs I apply for and the type of work I continue to add to my portfolio, but I do see myself utilizing this site when I am interviewing for jobs. I don’t necessarily see myself continuing the blogging process for reflection on courses; however it is possible that I may document my internship journey through this blog.

At this point, I like the design of my website because I think it’s simple and clean, so I’m not planning on completely redesigning any time soon. Furthermore, I don’t see myself using a different space. We did not have to create an “About” or “Contact” page for this class, but I already had those pages from my previous class, so I’m not going to add any more page tabs right now. I look forward to seeing how this website will be advantageous to me in the future with my job search.
