February 23 Reflection

This week for my PR publications class I was asked to design a letterhead for the same company I am designing the business card for.

I knew I wanted the letterhead to match with the design of the business cards for a nice flow. So I went to the Internet and compared different letterheads together and got an idea of what I wanted to have mine look like.

I was pleased with how it turned out. I am still having to refer back to the videos of how to use InDesign but I feel like I am able to do stuff with it and my work is turning out better than I expected. I will continue to work on my letterhead more in this upcoming week and really get it where I want it to be for my final project.

I think my reaction continues to be low confidence about the project because I have never seen myself as a designer and I do not want to create something that is terrible. But through this project I have continued to learn more about the program and the layout I am wanting.

I think the app Canva would make doing a project like this easier. I do not have Canva but I looked at the website and it seems like it would be helpful. It seems like it would be the most time effiecent way to create something. Maybe if you did not have a lot of knowledge about design then you could use this and create something quick and easy for your business.
