Final Direct Mailer

This week we are finalizing our direct mailers that we have been working on for the past few weeks. My target for the direct mailers was high school juniors and seniors that have shown interest in OU and parents or students applying who are OU alumni. The purpose of the assignment was to learn to use Photoshop to create these direct mailers.

I think these direct mailers are better than my first drafts. Photoshop has been a difficult software to adjust too after getting used to InDesign. I feel a little bit more comfortable with it now, after three weeks of using it. To me, it seems like Photoshop is a little more complex because of the use of layers, so I think I prefer InDesign. That’s after only two assignments using them, so this preference could probably change!

If I were to start over I think I would make them look more similar since they are supposed to in some way be tied together. I like how the first direct mailers are separately, but I don’t think they tie together very well.
