Final project

For my final project I created two infographics through canva. This was more time consuming than I thought but I am glad I did it because I ended up using it in my short film. One infographic works by recruiting students who are interested in taking the class and the other one does the same but it gives more information regarding what projects they can expect to do throughout the semester and through what programs.

The video contains footage from campus and also gives a little taste of what the college life is about here in Norman, Oklahoma. Even though we had the option to choose through different themes in iMovie, I wanted to created my own theme and add my own personality. The video gives information regarding the programs used in the class and I also added in some of our semester’s projects including our business card, direct mailers and infographic. Also, the best thing about using video is viewers can hit pause on clips that contain information they may be interested in viewing longer than a couple of seconds.

I love putting together video clips that in the end create an overall moment and memory. I took a chance on some of my video footage because I want OU college students to be able to relate to what they are viewing. Being a college student myself I like things that are entertaining and enjoyable. Who says learning can’t be fun?

 

In general, this course taught me to not be scared to use your personality in your work! Some of my projects I would forget to just relax and be ME. This was an important trial and error because the more I used my personality and my own personal taste the easier/enjoyable projects seemed and the better they looked in the end.
