FINAL REFLECTION!
Okay so for my final project I must say I am a tad disappointed in myself. Reason being is because I had soo many great ideas for my video, but I was making it too complicated to execute it all out. I wanted to convey through my mini clip my journey in PR Pubz “Sinister Style.” The reason I say “sinister style” is because the old film vibe reminded me of the movie Sinister 2 that is coming out in theaters soon, and I thought it would be cool if I mocked the movie with a satirical twist of how I got through this summer course. Another idea was going to be something cute and dainty like, but that didn’t happen either. I just didn’t have enough time and with everything that has taken place in my personal life in the last few days such as my aunt being admitted into ICU, my car still broken down and I still have no place to live for the upcoming semester has taken up more of my time this week than ever.
Overcoming obstacles was a huge part of my journey in PR Pubs. Not only with personal issues but my confidence starting out was at an all time low. Before this class I tried to use both photoshop and indesign, but was completely clueless! Now, I am more than confident thanks to this course. I love both programs and I will only exceed from here. Thank you professor Croom you made this course very whimsical and not intimidating like I thought it would be. I mean of course I had faced many challenges working on each project, but I got through it with your guidance and quick email tips! This course helped me complete other projects I had completed in other courses this summer.
I plan on going back and touching up some of my designs or starting them over when I find time, and I even plan on just coming up with my own projects to add to my portfolio. I especially want to redo my video I made for my final project and make other videos to emphasize more of my creative side.
Lastly, I had a very difficult time with uploading my video from my phone so I am not too sure if the quality will be great.
