Final Reflection

Well, after a significant amount of technical difficulties, here is my summary of learning project. I decided to go with the Silent Film because it was something that was way out of my comfort zone, similar to this class.

Although the silent film seemed to be tricky for me at first, I thought that a progression of my attitudes in this class through GIFFS would be an excellent way to describe how this class has helped me grow individually as well as a PR Practitioner. I now have the confidence to put on my resume “Skilled with Photoshop and Indesign.” Which quite frankly, is something that I thought would never be remotely possible with my patience level and lack of technological understanding.

I also feel that I have a much better grasp on what a public and a stakeholder are. As you’ll see in my video, they are an integral part of any public relations, which has made me consider doing PR for an organization rather than an agency. I throughly enjoyed this course and I hope that I will be able to use the tools I have learned in this class throughout my career.
