Final Reflection

For my Summary of Learning project I decided to do another direct mailer and tell people why they should want to be in PR Pubs. I thought that I have used red or creamy colors all semester on my projects so for this project I stepped outside of the box and I went with different colors. I chose a peach and a blue color and a blue color on my background. I wanted to convey that you would be learning Photoshop and InDesign in this classroom. I had never done a screencast before but when I did it I found it easy to do and I enjoyed being able to explain my idea to someone. This project allowed me to tell the viewer what I was thinking more so than just you looking at the design and hoping that you understand what I am trying to convey in the design.

I have been able to see myself grow. I have never considered myself to be good at designing things but through this class I was able to push myself and see what I was capable of doing. I am leaving this class feeling much more confident about the designs I am able to create. I have really enjoyed learning all of these design things and design elements. I will continue to use Photoshop and InDesign and I hope to continue to get better and better. Below is the screen cast for the project and the images of the direct mailer.
