Final Reflection
The end is near here!
After going back and forth several times as I always do, I decided to create a Google doc story for my summary of learning project. You can watch my creation here. In this Google doc story, all of the cursors/typers were me, essentially at different parts of the semester. The purple cursor is kind of the narration, the red represents the rough beginning of the semester, the yellow is midway through the narration, and the green is the end of the semester when I got myself together. More than anything, my Google doc story represents my progress this semester. As I state in the Google doc story, I felt this was the most genuine way for me to reflect on my own work and growth. I think it speaks for itself.
I could’ve said a lot more in my Google docs story, but it kind of limited me to one page, which was fine. I have trouble being a succinct person sometimes and it could’ve gone on forever. I’ve really enjoyed PR Pubs this semester. I thought the course format was great and appreciated the flexibility this format afforded. I liked the point distribution/grading structure in this class. All of the projects seemed pertinent and useful, and I also liked the book we used. I didn’t think much about how I felt about writing for a public audience, but I know it’s important to keep target audience in mind both when designing and writing. I think my growth this semester has been really impressive and I’m really thankful I’ve had the opportunity to take this class and learn under Adam’s guidance.
