First Drafts of Direct Mailers

In my PR Pubs class, I’m working on two direct mailers for different but related publics. My public is Dallas and Dallas-area high school seniors with an income of over $100,000.

With them in mind, I designed the following mailer:

I also designed this mailer to send to parents of these students:

The back of this mailer is still incomplete, as I’m going to change the “O-K-U” text (which is right now situated under the mailing address) and add OU’s contact information (website and address).

Still, I’d love to hear your thoughts about these drafts. I’m very happy with my student mailer but am certainly open to suggestion.

My primary concern is whether the affects I’ve chosen are suitable to the pictures themselves. I’m not sure if they are achieving the effect I had in mind (retro, vintage, hipster).
