Frozen: PR Pubs Edition
Do you want to build a snowman direct mailer?
This week, my PR Publications class had me do some research on stakeholders for a few direct mailers that I will be doing for OU Recruitment Services.
Unfortunately, the mailer will not be able to be unveiled until next week. Thanks D-Bo and Oklahoma weather. On the bright side, I think my matrix turned out nicely and it helped me figure out what I wanted to include in my direct mailer.
Before I was kicked out of the lab tonight, I was experimenting with backgrounds and was brainstorming. I think I’d like to have some stage lights on the front with a blank marquee that says “your name here.” On the back, I will put information about a workshop that I mentioned in a previous post.
The matrix itself wasn’t difficult, but it did take up a solid chunk of time.
I’m not super worried about how my direct mailer will turn out, but I want it to be better than my last project. Not that my business card and letterhead were bad, I just want to improve with each assignment. Photoshop and InDesign are interesting and these are skills that I see myself using later on.
I’ll be working on this more later, but right now, I’m going to try and enjoy my snow day.
