Fundraising business card Pt. 1

In my PR Publications class, we were asked to create a business card for any specific organization that we wanted. I chose to focus on the Children’s Miracle Network, specifically from the POV of a student involved in Soonerthon (a branch underneath this large organization) on campus. I really liked the idea of creating a business card, one of our choice because I was more interested in researching and creating something for an area that I’m passionate about. Not just that, but learning how to create a business card is important in communicating in the professional community and formulating relationships and connections, and I had no idea how to create this (other than in Microsoft Word). It was difficult working in inDesign, and I was a little annoyed that I had such great ideas in my head, but couldn’t find a way to get those onto the screen. Hopefully through more time spent studying and understanding this program I will be able to fully express the images in my head through the computer software.
