Happy Snow Day!

Today in Norman, Oklahoma we have a snow day! Therefore I do not have access to the Gaylord College computer labs. Although my photoshop draft of my direct mailer is not completed due to the weather, I am going to reflect on what I have done thus far.

This week in PR pubs we have been working in adobe photoshop to create a direct mailer to be mailed out through OU recruitment services.

When I read through the assignment, I was excited to start working in Photoshop but I was worried because I did not exactly know what all a direct mailer entailed or what it should look like. I started by using the Pinterest technique again to help create ideas.

After defining my stakeholder, I begin working in photoshop just to familiarize myself with the tools again. As always, its hard to get back into a program you haven’t opened in awhile, but once I started working I started to get the hang of it again.

Stay tuned for more updates as I finish my design when I can get back into the lab!
