Hello.

Hello classmates! Welcome to my site. So for my first post I am going to share my favorite spot on campus. This was a tough decision for me because I truly believe we attend one of the most beautiful universities in the nation. I am also a campus tour guide, so I get paid minimum wage to say that…but I mean it. The spot I wound up choosing was the Student Life Office in the Oklahoma Memorial Union. I spend so many hours there and have really come to find my place at OU through the people and organizations in that office. My favorite thing that I am a part of that is housed in the Student Life Office is Campus Activities Council Soonerthon. Soonerthon is OU’s largest philanthropy that raises money for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital in OKC. For the last two years I have gotten to serve on the leadership team for this incredible organization that is changing lives for local kids. Getting to serve on this leadership team means a lot of late nights with my best friends. The picture you’ll see below was actually one I took (shameless selfie) at our meeting tonight to thank our friend John for bringing us the goods (caffeine). In case your reading this on the 21st of January we are actually currently in the process of trying to break history at OU. Crazy that school doesn’t stop for something that cool right? Soonerthon is trying to raise $15K in 1 Day. 24 Hours. Well, less than that now.
