Here comes the Thunder

In my OU Publications class, we are designing a business card and letterhead for a business of our choice. I decided on the Oklahoma City Thunder Basketball team because they are the pride of Oklahomans and I believe they are a reason for a large amount of growth in Oklahoma.

The OKC Thunder’s mission is to be the best basketball team in the nation. Its competitors would be other national basketball teams such as The Lakers or Bulls. The Thunder’s core values would be Oklahoma pride and representation. The mascot, Rumble, is based on a bison, a native animal of Oklahoma, and the name “Thunder” referring to the many storms Oklahoma has. The whole team name and theme is based on the what Oklahoma is all about.
