Home Sweet OU
As a freshman from out of state, it was vital that I find my home away from home at the University of Oklahoma. Although it is not directly on campus, Chi Omega quickly became a favorite spot to spend my time. From having tea with Mom Martha, to sitting in the rec. room studying with friends until 1 am, Chi Omega has become an integral part of my college career for the past two years.
This past year, I had the opportunity to live in the house. During that time, I was able to learn an immense amount about my character, how to work with numerous personalities and the true meaning of life-long friendship
Chi Omega has opened many doors and given me the confidence to further strengthen my leadership skills. This year, I was selected to be an assistant chair for our philanthropy, the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
I am incredibly grateful for all of the things Chi Omega has given me, but most of all, a family and a place to always call home in Norman.
