How Do You Photoshop?

Well, this is the first bootcamp where I have survived! Over the past week we had to become PRO’s (not really) in Photoshop and InDesign while watching video tutorials as well as following along with some instructions in class.

I am a complete newby to Photoshop and InDesign, so simple things like zooming in or deleting a mistake was so difficult for me! Throughout the videos, the explanation were easy to follow along with and the rewind button became my BFF. I definitely had to slow down the videos just so I could go along with what it was saying. Everything seemed like it was a foreign language but once things started coming together, it was sort of rewarding.

Not going to lie, the videos took for EVER to watch and it sometimes felt a little frustrating having to do so much of something that I had no previous experience with. But it was extremely helpful and now I have some sort of knowledge on these programs.

I think everyones reaction was somewhat similar, because most of us had ever had any prior experience. We are just not used to being put in situations were we are extremely out of our comfort zone, but I think in these situations are when we learn the most.
