Introduction

Well hello everyone, my name is Brianna Hopkins and I made this blog in order to improve my writing skills and become more familiar with expressing myself through writing. I am currently on my third year of college at the University of Oklahoma, majoring in Public Relations and minoring in Spanish. For an assignment for my Public Relations Publications class, we were told to describe our favorite place on campus whether it be a study spot or just a place we have great memories at. The first thing that came to my mind was the infamous Gaylord Memorial Football Stadium. I was born and raised in California so naturally I am always asked, “Why did you move to Oklahoma?” And a big part of that answer is that amazing football field. Everyone who knows about OU or has gone to OU is very familiar with the pride of Oklahoma and its football. Whether it be football or any other sport, OU is a university that cherishes its athletes. I can remember my first football game like it was yesterday. From the traditional OU chants to the dedicated cheering throughout the game, I was in awe. This football stadium gives people hope and even better–memories they will never forget.
