JTMC and ME
Jim Thorpe Multicultural Center is my favorite place on campus not only because of its stunning aesthetics (not really) and its cutting edge technology (also a joke), but also because of the memories I have made there. When I transferred to OU from Seattle University in Washington, I knew no one in the state of Oklahoma. In an effort to meet people through on-campus organizations, I applied to be a part of Camp Crimson my first year here and was lucky enough to be selected to serve as a Small Group Leader. JTMC acts as a hub for all camp activities: SGL interviews, SGL selection reveal, training, camp itself, and post-camp wrap-up. I just finished my 3rd straight year of working with Camp Crimson and perhaps I am getting sentimental in my old age and that’s why I chose Jim Thorpe.
However, with unlimited Chick-fil-A the caf is a close second.
