This game is obnoxiously fun, but your trigger finger gets a burn-worthy workout. I blasted through the Junior-level difficulty without any errors, but Middle-weight’s time limit felled me after 177 points. I recommend a zig-zag pattern to zap the tiny-footed letters.

Kern Type

This game feels like straining to itch a hard-to-reach place — frustrating, but sooo satisfying once you nail it. After several quick-action bouts of manual-kerning frustration, I absolutely dominated with a perfectly scored kern. I think this means I can die happy now.

The Empire Poster Quiz

An exercise in pop-culture futility. I’m not even disclosing my score — I performed that abysmally. If I’ve learned anything from this humbling throttling at the hands of classic movie posters, I realize the profound difficulty in recognizing deconstructed, iconic scenes into granular snippets.
