Lesson 2.1 Reflection

After completing Lesson 2.1 which consisted of creating Pinterest mood/inspiration boards, conducting research and designing the beginning elements of a business card, here are my reflections.

1. How did you respond to what you were asked to do?

I enjoyed doing research and thinking creatively when creating the Pinterest boards. I found it sort of difficult to translate my ideas when actually designing the business card though.

2. How did you react to what you actually did?

I definitely want to improve my InDesign and typography skills before I turn in my final project.

3. Now go one level deeper: Why do you think your reaction was what it was?

It was easy to compare my work to finished business cards that I saw online while looking for inspiration, but it’s important to remember that they probably went thought several drafts/phases as well.
