Letterhead

This week for my PR Pubs class we were asked to create a letterhead that corresponds with the business card that we made last week. This week my mindset was better than last week because I was more confident in my ability to use InDesign. Last week I was shaking in my boots before starting the assignment but this week I wasn’t too worried.

After finishing my rough draft for the letterhead assignment I was pretty impressed with my ability to smoothly move through InDesign. I got tripped up once but other than that I was shocked at simply I breezed through the application this week. I have used Canva to design a few images in the past and there are times where I get very frustrated because I don’t pay for a Canva account and I have selected fonts that you had to pay for. I like that I am getting the hang of InDesign and I am feeling more comfortable in a new application. When I look at my rough draft I would say that I am proud of myself. I think that I have a lot of room to improve to be 100% satisfied with my final product.

I think I am proud of my product because I have high expectations for myself. I also think I am proud because before using InDesign or Photoshop I seriously had no idea what I was doing, so seeing myself learn to use these applications that I never thought I would use has made me proud of myself. I cannot wait to see how my business card and letterhead improve.
