Midterm Blog Post- PR Writing

This week we reviewed some changes to the syllabus in class and what will be happening the rest of the semester. We talked about ways we could utilize our client more and how we could review each others work thus far. I think there are many connections between our research assignments for our client and our writing assignments. The research that we do is what ultimately helps us construct the material we need for our writing assignments. The research part is there to help us and utilize the media and what it has to offer. The research tactics we use definitely highlight the strengths and the weaknesses of our client. Throughout this research, we are able to tell what our client needs to focus on more in the context of the media and the public, and also what they are already excelling at. The research has also helped a lot with ideas that our client could use to increase their profits or media coverage in a positive way. The research is there to help us learn and brainstorm for our client.
