Mission Accomplished
Wow I did not think this day would come so fast! I have completed PR Publications and I feel pretty accomplished. To be honest, I was extremely anxious about taking this class because I had never taken an online course before and being a rather slow learner I wasn’t sure how this was going to go. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised by this class. I learned far more than I ever thought possible about Photoshop, InDesign and Canva too. I now can say that I feel comfortable with using each of these pieces of software (even Photoshop after countless hours of practice) and I can’t wait to show my employers all the cool new things I’ve learned.
Honestly this was one of my most favorite classes that I’ve taken in Gaylord. I looked forward to seeing how I could put my creativity and design skills to work with each assignment. I often times would put off all my other homework, just so I could play around perfecting my designs and website.
For my summary of learning project, I knew I wanted to do something using Canva because that was probably my most favorite design site to use. The creativity options are endless and there’s so much to play around with. I decided to give a very brief summary of what I thought about each design tool and how people should definitely take advantage of the opportunity to sign up for this class. At the end, I put a little blurb about how all of the hard work I did in this class paid off with several internship offers.
Thanks again Professor Croom for all the lessons, tips and most of all your patience with my slow learning pace. This class truly taught me so much and I would highly recommend it to anyone!
