My Great Study Spot

To some people, the Bizzell Library seems like an ordinary library that isn’t any different from other libraries. Those same people have probably never stepped inside the Bizz. The Bizzell Library is not only my favorite study spot, but it is also my favorite building on OU’s campus. From the multiple stacks of aged books, to the study rooms that are extravagant yet intimidating, the Bizzell is full of character and history. I started really exploring the Bizz when I was a freshman during my first finals week, and was in need of a study break. I was intrigued by all of the old books and dissertations I found, along with places such as the Great Reading Room that look like you just stepped inside Hogwarts. I’m a big Harry Potter fan, so the Great Reading Room was my favorite discovery of all. I still find myself exploring the Bizzell from time to time whenever I have the chance, especially on days that seem extra stressful when I just need to take a step back and relax.
