My Top Spot

The University of Oklahoma has so many beautiful places to explore. I love riding my bike around campus while gazing at everything that surrounds me. Of course only if Oklahoma weather permits it. During my many hours as a student here at OU it has been nearly impossible to avoid a growing affection for Gaylord College. This last spring semester it literally became my home. All of the courses I took were in Gaylord, and I had three different jobs in Gaylord as well. I learned at Gaylord, did homework at Gaylord, made money at Gaylord, ate at Gaylord, AND sometimes even slept there. During these long hours of selling my soul to Gaylord I developed a safe spot. I have no idea what it is called but there is a big dome at the very front of the building. During the night it is decorated by colorful lights that change colors. Right underneath the dome area on the lower level there are tables, chairs, and best of all COUCHES. When in doubt I get cozy on the couches. Within a few short steps there is a bathroom, a computer lab, and vending machines. What more could a young girl possibly need? Gaylord is a magnificent place that has opened up so many opportunities for me as an aspiring professional and I am incredibly grateful for it.
