Newsletter Reflection

I must say, it was really nice to use InDesign without having to learn how to use a new platform again. It was much easier to jump right into it and get to work. For this assignment, we were asked to create a newsletter for a Fortune 500 Company of our choice. I think I responded well to what we were told to do, I incorporated everything that was required into the newsletter, and think it came out looking pretty good. I think I was able to do well on this assignment because I just gave myself more time to work on it. I didn’t want to rush to finish anything, and that allowed me to create a better product.

The company itself, Apple, is a little tricky to design for. On one hand, I wanted to use a lot of colors and make it look creative, but Apple is rather plain in their text and websites as we’ve all seen. Simple: White, Gray and Black. I refused to leave the background white, so I atlas added a little color, but my goal was to honestly keep the document as simple as possible so it resembles the company.Apple Newsletter
