Newspaper Markup

Along with the typesetting assignment, we were asked to mark up a newspaper with the new terms we learned. I used the Norman Transcript because I knew this newspaper was always available for free in Gaylord. I could find almost all the elements on the cover page of the Norman Transcript. The only part I couldn’t find easily was a sub-head and a pull quote. This is why I decided to look beyond the cover page to the sports section.
