Newspaper Markup

For this assignment we had to find a newspaper and mark the different elements it contained! While my first go at the assignment didn’t have all the elements, I found them as I went further into the newspaper. For this assignment I found it hard to distinguish the difference between a Deck and a Subhead (I’m still not sure!! SO SOS)

I really enjoyed this assignment because it helped me distinguish the different elements that go into the layout of a newspaper. This assignment was a great way to ease myself into designing layouts. Next I will attempt to make my own design layout for a newspaper, so fingers crossed!
