Oklahoma Watch

My next assignment in my PR Publications class is to research an organization and eventually create a letterhead and business card for that organization.  I have chosen Oklahoma Watch, since I am currently interning on their event staff for the public forums they host.  In this post I will be examining Oklahoma Watch’s message, attitudes and core values to later design an image that will suite their brand.

Oklahoma Watch is a nonprofit organization that provides in-depth and investigative journalism on important issues to Oklahomans.  This organization generates a platform that works for the people of Oklahoma in an effort to improve the conditions and quality of life in the state.

The main competitors of Oklahoma Watch would be other organizations that provide investigative journalism.  This could be issues covered by news stations or other content generated by newspapers.

Above all else Oklahoma Watch aims to make a difference in the lives of Oklahomans.  They value being a trusted news outlet that solely generates stories that are important to or can affect people living in Oklahoma.
