PR Writing: Blogging Topics

Three blog topics that I thought would be interesting for a reader wanting to know more about the OKC Thunder are:

3 Things You’re Doing to Sabotage Your Free Throws

This one is pretty self-explanitory. For the idea, I would have Coach B-Don explain the (3? maybe he has more or less) things that a player can do to sabotage their free throws and what they can do to fix them. This will be a great read for our readers who are players as well.

Ballin’ in the USA: Enes Kanter’s Firsthand Account of Coming to America

Not sure about the usage of Ballin’, but I used it as a play on Miley Cyrus’s song ‘Party in the USA’ (don’t judge me). This is also self-explanitory, but essentially what I would want to do is feature Enes Kanter and sit down with him to get an account of his movement to the US and how it was coming to a new country.

Thunder Basketball is More than Just a Sport, it’s Community

This title will draw the reader in who has great pride in the team and the state. I will highlight the major things the Thunder has done to contribute to the Oklahoman community from the founding in 2008, just as a human interest blog post to keep the Thunder spirit alive.
