PR Writing: Chapter 3

Reading this chapter made my tummy turn over because I am currently enrolled in PR research and could possibly already be suffering from PTSD caused by Big Assignment #1 that was due today. However, three things I took away from this chapter are:

1. Keeping a budget
2. The importance of the four phases of research
3. The example of a research report at the end of the chapter- that will be very helpful not only in this class, but in PR research as well.

Working for the Thunder, I have done light research that usually only requires a Google Search, but I know in jobs that are more specific to Public Relations, research is a vital aspect that every employee should know. Understanding research has helped my writing because I know I should be working on being more precise. It helps me realize just how knowledge-based and carefully planned out Public Relations really is.
