PR Writing: Chapter 4

Three things I took away from this chapter are

1. The section on secondary research.
2. The section on primary research.
3. constructing questionnaires, because we haven’t gotten to that part yet in PR Research and I’m really curious to see what we’ll be doing in future activities.

Understanding secondary research and knowing how to perform it efficiently, both time and cost wise, is extremely important to having a future in such a research driven field. This chapter will help with my writing in that it will teach me how to properly search databases for information that is scholarly and peer-reviewed and help me to conduct my own primary research when I so need it. This type of learning is so crucial and can look really good on a resume.
